Gunbarf Stepping Village






The village of Gunbarf, from Tabriz, which takes the route to the village of Gunbarf, is about two hours away; this route should not be missed especially during the summer. Where the river and the mountains come together, the nature has created one of its privileged masterpieces, and the village of Gunbarf is in the symbol of pure nature. The Seel Chai River, located on the slopes of Sahand Mountains, has brought the pristine nature to the area. The style of the house architecture is a step on the mountainside. Kringhan Village
Kringhan is one of the villages of Eastern Dizmar, located in the central part of Varzeghan city, 35 kilometers northwest of Varzeghan and 110 kilometers northwest of Tabriz. One-story houses with simple designs and wood-lined materials give the village a special charm. The rows of houses on the steep slope of the hill are parallel to the roof of which is one of the courtyards of the other house. The shape of houses is in line with the type of livelihood and activities of the people as well as the climate of the region, and the spaces necessary to meet the diverse needs of villagers such as living space, shelter, forage storage, etc. are foreseen in their construction.

Marand Town
Marand is a historic city with many tourist attractions in East Azerbaijan, which, according to historians, dates back to the third millennium BC. Marand means burial in the Armenian language, and Shardon considers the area as the burying place of Noah. Hence, cultural and historical monuments, including 41 historical works, have been identified and registered so far. There are valuable works in this area, including forts, ancient hills, tombs, caravans, chalets, old baths, bridges, mosques and historic churches.

Mehrabad mosque of the Bonab
The Bonab Mehrabad mosque, which is listed on the national monuments list, is one of the most valuable monuments of the region. The mosque is of special and exclusive importance because of its historical inscriptions and sculptural monuments, and a beautiful minaret of 25 meters high. Bonab Mehrabad mosque in 951 AH by the order Mansour Beygh's daughter was built during Shah Tahmasb Safavid, and like other mosques in Bonab city is located at a height of more than one meter. The distinction of the Mehrabad mosque with other mosques in the area is marble inscription.

Historical House of Sheikh Ghazi Seif al-olama
Each region has its own history and historical places such as historical houses. And here in Bonab there is an old House called, House of Sheikh Ali Qazi. The house is located in Gazavasht region which is one of the oldest areas of Bonab. The history of this two story house dates back to the Qajar era.

Bakhtak Castle
Bakhtak Castle is one of the oldest monuments of the Leilan region of Malekan town which consists many works of pre-Islamic era. Hence it is highly interesting case for the specialists and experts of archeology. These historical works are related to Sassanid and Parthian era. This castle has registered as a national monument in 2000 in the list of Iran's national list of works.

Doghijan village
Doghijan village is located in Marand city. The altitudes of the village of Doghijan include natural attractions such as the waterfall and the spring of the Ab Sefid (White Water), the Doghijan Cave and beautiful forest and valley. The Doghijan cave is a kind of cave, consisting of two halls, one of which is kind of stalactites and beautiful stalacmites, and has a completely mud floor and another hall of dry cervid pearls with dried leaves and animal bones.

Zonuzag Village
Zonuzag village is one of the most prominent villages in Iran, and its age is even greater than its similar villages like Masouleh. Due to its unique mountainous form, it is mountainous and houses are stacked together. The village, located in the heart of the mountain, and decorated with houses with the blue, red and green doors and windows in a way that attracts the attention of every visitor. A beautiful countryside with a magnificent view that has created a great area for historic monuments.
